Snow Removal Reminders

November 11, 2019

The snow accumulation has reached a point that crews are now plowing the streets. Please remove all cars from the street as soon as possible.

Unfortunately today is also trash day. Please bring in your containers as soon as possible once they are emptied so that they do not end up in the roadway. There may be some areas that Waste Management will not be able to collect by the end of the day today. If your trash/recycle is not collected today, please leave it out for collection tomorrow or Wednesday (depending on weather conditions).

Residents: Please clear your sidewalk of snow and ice within 48 hours of snow cessation.

Business owners: Please clear your sidewalks within 4 hours of snow cessation or by the start of your business day.

Please shovel the snow onto your property. It is against City Ordinance to shovel the snow into the street or onto a neighbor's property.

We also request that you please help the fire department by making sure that fire hydrants around your home or business are cleared of snow, accessible and visible from the street as soon as possible after a snow storm. Every second counts in an emergency situation.
