To the Qualified Electors of the City of Dexter, Washtenaw County, Michigan:
Notice is hereby given that Monday, February 8, 2016 is the LAST DAY TO REGISTER for the March 8, 2016 election. The Dexter City office, 8123 Main Street, MI 48130 will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for the purpose of receiving applications of qualified electors in the City of Dexter who are not already registered.
If you are not currently registered to vote in the City of Dexter at your current address, you may do so in any of the following ways:
The Ice Skating Rink in Monument Park is closed.
When the rink is open the fence lighting will be illuminated.
Applications for City precinct workers are being accepted.
Absentee ballot applications for the March 8, 2016 Election are available at the City Offices or by contacting Justin Breyer at 734-580-2234 or firstname.lastname@example.org. To qualify for an absentee ballot a registered voter must meet one of the following criteria:
age 60 years old or older
unable to vote without assistance at the polls
expecting to be out of town on election day
The City of Dexter is seeking public input on the draft Parks and Recreation Master Plan. The Plan will chart the course for the City's parks and recreation services for the next five years. The 30-day public input period will begin on January 15th and will end on February 15th. In case you weren't aware, we had a significant fire occur in the City of Dexter last night. The fire occurred at one condominium building in the Huron Common complex off of Inverness behind Huron Farms. The fire occurred at roughly 7:25 -7:30 pm.
