DPW crews have been out since 2 am clearing the major and local roads, intersections, alleys, cul-de-sacs, and downtown sidewalks & parking spaces.
Overnight tonight they will be back in to continue working on the the cul-de-sacs, parking spaces and intersections.
The City of Dexter has officially transitioned the voter registration process from Scio and Webster Townships. Any questions regarding registering to vote or elections can now be directed to the City Offices. The next election will be held on May 5, 2015. New voter registration cards will be mailed to all City voters in February.
The Arts, Culture & Heritage Committee is seeking a new member, who must be a resident of the City of Dexter. The Committee meets on the first Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. and is a 11 member group that advises City Council on the development of arts, culture and heritage; promotes and publicizes projects that support arts, culture and heritage; serves as advocates for arts, culture, and heritage and encourages networking and collaborations of the arts, culture, and heritage of the City of Dexter.
The Dexter District Library is currently hosting a display of Plein Air artwork that was painted in Dexter during the 2014 Paint Dexter Plein Air Festival. The artwork is on display until February 14, 2015 on the lower level of the Library and much of it is available for sale.

Sunday –Thursday 8 am – 9 pm
Friday and Saturday 8 am – 10 pm
Resurfacing daily between 8 am – 11 am, when necessary, or as soon as weather permits
Rule & Regulations:
Skate at your own risk; safety gear recommended; no skate attendant on duty; no hockey, sticks or pucks. Do not walk on gazebo with skates. For emergencies call 911.
No trespassing when rink is closed.
