Beginning Monday, April 14, 2014 DTE will begin a gas main replacement project in the Village. This will involve replacement of gas main on Forest and Grand between Broad and Baker. Additional work will also be done in the Alpine/Main area. Property owners in the project area have been notified by DTE. Tickets are now on sale for the 4th Annual Easter Eggstravaganza. Thanks to our generous sponsors, the first 100 tickets will be available free of charge. Tickets can be purchased at the Village Office (8123 Main) or by mail. Once those are sold, the fee will be $2 per child/$4 for two or more children. On the day of the event the fee will be $3 per child/$5 for two or more children.

Recycle Ann Arbor will host live secure document shredding at 7891 Jackson Rd on Saturday, April 12, 2014 from 9 am to 12 pm. This will be a recurring event from April-November from 9 am to noon. Yard waste collection by Waste Management begins this Friday (April 4). Customers may use paper yard waste bags or containers up to 32-gallons in capacity with proper sticker facing the street (50-pound weight limit). Stickers, which state “Yard Waste” are available at the Village Office.
Bundle brush and branches that are 4 inches in diameter or less in 3 - 4 foot long bundles
with string. Contact the Village Office if you are not able to bundle your brush or for branches over 4’ in length or 4” in diameter.
