City bids for projects estimated to cost over $5,000 are posted on the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network.

2019 Pedestrian Mobility Improvements

Sealed Bids for Dexter Pedestrian Mobility Bid will be received at the office of the City of Dexter until 10:00 am local time, on July 8, 2019, by the office of the Assistant to the City Manager located at 8123 Main Street, Dexter, MI 48130. The approximate quantities of major items of work involved are as follows: Construction of approximately 8,250 SFt of new concrete sidewalk and sidewalk ramps along Forest Street in the City of Dexter. Traffic control devices will be needed as a part of this project.

The Contract Documents for this project are on file and may be examined on Michigan Inter- governmental Trade Network (MITN) after 9:00 am, June 20, 2019. Bid Documents must be obtained by registering for the MITN system as follows: Visit, select registration on the right of the page. Complete the vendor registration. For questions regarding MITN call 800-677-1997.

Bid Security in the form of a Certified or Cashier's Check or Bid Bond for a sum no less than five percent (5%) of the amount of the Bid will be required with each Bid.

The OWNER reserves the right to accept any Bid, reject any Bid, or waive irregularities in Bids.

No Bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty twenty (60) calendar days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of the Bids.

An optional pre-bid meeting is scheduled for this project on June 25, 2019 at 10:00 am.
