A small town holiday parade will be held on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at 6 pm. The parade will start at Kensington and Ann Arbor Street and end at the American Legion on Dexter Chelsea. The route is similar to the Dexter Daze Parade.

On Saturday, December 14, 2019 Central Street will be closed from Main to 5th from noon to 7 p.m. and Fifth Street will be closed from Dover to Broad from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. for the Holiday Hustle. Dover, Second, Inverness, Lake, Meadowview, Quackenbush, Noble, York, Dexter Ann Arbor, and Third will also be closed temporarily as the race passes by between 4:00 p.m. at 5:50 p.m. To accommodate the more than 1,000 runners, westbound Dexter Ann Arbor from Ryan/Dan Hoey to Kensington will be closed from approximately 4:40 p.m.
The workshop to assemble kits for the 2019 Luminaria will take place on Saturday, December 14, 2019 at the City DPW located at 3600 Central St. Assembly begins at 9:00 am. Those interested in helping to deliver the kits should arrive at 10:00 am. The goal is to provide supplies to all City neighborhoods, which requires a significant volunteer effort.
