The Washtenaw County Sheriff is partnering with the Opiod Prescribing Engagement Network (OPEN) to host a prescription drug take back event in Monument Park on Saturday, April 27, 2019 from 10 am to 2 pm.
A Town Hall meeting on City Facilities will be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 9 am at the Dexter Senior Center. The meeting is an opportunity to gather public feedback on the ideas that have been studied for the future of the City Office, Sheriff's Substation and Fire Station.
An opportunity for the public to visit the Fire Station, Sheriff's Sub-Station and/or the City Office prior to the meeting will be offered from 8 am to 9 am on Saturday, April 27, 2019.
An Arbor Day Celebration will be held on April 26, 2019 to celebrate the benefits of trees, including how trees can reduce erosion of topsoil by wind and water, moderate the temperature, clean the air, produce life-giving oxygen, provide habitat for wildlife, and cut heating and cooling costs. The City of Dexter is proud to host the 9th Annual Easter Eggstravaganza on Saturday, April 20, 2019! Come for a fun-filled family experience with live bunnies, egg scrambles, pictures with the Easter Bunny, and face painting! The event will be held at Community Park (3575 Ryan Dr.). The Easter Bunny will be at the Park from 10am – 11am, and the Easter egg scrambles will begin promptly at 10:30am.
