Drinking Water Testing

September 7, 2018

It has been in the news recently that the State of Michigan is testing all drinking water systems for chemical substances known as PFAS/PFOS/PFOA. The City of Dexter received our results today (September 6, 2018) and we are pleased to report that these chemicals were not detected in our drinking water. Samples were taken of the water coming from the Ryan Drive wellfield and the well near Dexter High School.

For more information on these chemicals and the State of Michigan’s response, please visit - https://www.michigan.gov/pfasresponse/. It will take about 48 hours for the City’s results to be included in the online database of test results provided on this website.
