Citizens Police Academy
If you are interested in attending the Fall 2017 WCSO Citizens Police Academy please visit http://www.ewashtenaw.org/government/sheriff/community/citizens-police-academy. The website provides the application and release forms which should be returned to Deputy Wion at firstname.lastname@example.org or faxed to 734-794-2128 by July 27, 2017. All forms must have an actual signature (email signatures and font signatures are not accepted).
The Citizens Police Academy is designed to give you a behind the scenes, in-depth look into the everyday happenings of the Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office. Their goal is to make this course an informative and enjoyable experience for everyone involved. It's their opportunity to share what they do and how they do it. You'll meet command staff, learn how traffic stops are made, take a tour of the jail, meet our K-9 and Mounted members, learn how to process a crime scene, make an arrest, and much more.
