Washtenaw County Parks has submitted a project site plan for completion of the Border to Border River Terrace Trail (Dexter Huron Park to Central Street) to the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT) for review. Due to the proximity of the trail to the railroad and MDOT’s ownership of the railroad MDOT approval is required. The trail alignment has been preliminary determined and Washtenaw County is waiting for MDOT approval prior to proceeding with construction.
