2018 Sidewalk Replacement Project

The 2018 sidewalk replacement project will start on Tuesday, May 29, 2018. This project generally includes the replacement of uneven sidewalk and various intersection ramps. Homeowners and businesses in impacted areas received notifications via mail. Please contact the City Office at 734-426-8303 with any questions.

Crack Seal Project

Crack seal work on the streets that were cape sealed in 2016, along with other residential streets as needed, will begin on Monday, May 21, 2018. This work is not expected to have a significant impact on residents or commuting traffic. Please proceed carefully through work zones.

Baker Road Gas Main Relocation Project

In preparation for the roundabouts project, a DTE contractor will be relocating a gas main along Baker between Shield and Dan Hoey. During non-rush hour times, the contractor will need to reduce Baker Rd to one lane; two way traffic will be maintained with flagging. This project will start on Monday, May 7, 2018 at 9 am. This project will occur during the closure of Dexter Ann Arbor from Dan Hoey to Zeeb; drivers concerned about delay should consider taking Dexter Chelsea to Parker to Jackson to Baker to access I-94.
