Applications for City precinct workers are being accepted. Elections are scheduled to be held in May, August and November in 2016. City Department of Public Works staff along with our contracted engineering firm OHM will be in Dexter Crossing today taking core samples of the roadways. This information will be used to determine the best fix for the road, which will help us to plan future road improvement projects. Please proceed with caution through the work areas.

Residents interested in having a tree planted in their lawn extension can participate in our 2016 Tree Planting Program. Please complete and return the form by Monday, March 28, 2016. Yard waste collection by Waste Management will begin Friday, April 1, 2016. Residents may use paper yard waste bags or containers up to 32-gallons in capacity marked with yard waste stickers (50-pound weight limit). Yard waste stickers are available at no charge at the City Office.
Brush and branches that are 4 inches in diameter or less and 3 - 4 foot long should be bundled with string. Contact the City Office if you are not able to bundle your brush, or for branches over 4’ in length or 4” in diameter.

The City of Dexter is proud to host the 6th Annual Easter Eggstravaganza on Saturday, March 26! Come for a fun-filled family experience with egg scrambles, pictures with the Easter Bunny, and face painting! The event will be held at Community Park (3575 Ryan Dr.). The Easter Bunny will be at the Park from 10am – 12pm, and the Easter egg scrambles will begin promptly at 10:30am.
