The Washtenaw County Sheriff's Office will be hosting a Police Service Dog Handler Physical Fitness Evaluation in the City on Sunday, April 23, 2017 from 8:30 am to 11:30 am. The training will take place in North and South Mill Creek Park. The Park will not be closed and spectators are welcome, however certain areas may be temporarily roped off. The handlers and their police service dogs will be performing a series of physical exercises on the vacant property at 3045 Broad and running a two mile course from Mill Creek Park South, back into the vacant land south of Forest Lawn Cemetery. Some simulated gunfire may be used during the run. The run will end in the parking lot behind 8140 Main St (Sheriff's Substation/Fire Department), where they will have a simulated arrest exercise.

Thank you for your cooperation as we host this important training for the Police Service Dog Handlers.
