Public Accuracy Test/Election Equipment Open House
Prior to each election, the City is required to hold a public accuracy test of the voting equipment. For the November 7, 2017 Election, all communities in Washtenaw County will be using new voting equipment. From the perspective of the voter, the equipment will be very similar. The main difference will be filling in a box instead of an oval on the ballot. To give residents an opportunity to see the new equipment prior to election day, we will be holding an open house for the election equipment along side the public accuracy test at 6 pm prior to the October 23, 2017 Council Meeting at the Senior Center. Anyone who is interested in learning about the new equipment is encouraged to attend.
