To the Qualified Electors of the City of Dexter, Washtenaw County, Michigan:

 Notice is hereby given that an election will be held in the City of Dexter, County of Washtenaw, State of Michigan on Tuesday, November 6, 2018, between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m.

 At which time the following will be voted upon in the City of Dexter:

  • Proposal 18-1: a proposed initiated law to authorize and legalize posession, use and cultivation of marijuana products by individuals who are at least 21 years of age and older, and commercial sales of marijuana through state-licensed retailers
  • proposal 18-2: a proposed constitutional amendment to establish a commission of citizens with exclusive authority to adopt district boundaries for the Michigan senate, michigan house of representatives and u.s. congress, every 10 years
  • proposal 18-3: a proposal to authorize automatic and election day voter registration, no-reason absentee voting, and straight ticket voting; and add current legal requirements for military and overseas voting and post-election audits to the michigan constitution
  • washtenaw county proposal: proposition to renew the tax limitation for parks and recreation purposes including acquisition, development, maintenance and operation of park lands and recreation facilities for the benefit of washtenaw county citizens

The Dexter Senior Center (7720 Ann Arbor St., Dexter, MI 48130) has been designated as the voting place for Precincts #1 and #3, St. Andrew’s Church (7610 Ann Arbor St., Dexter, MI 48130) has been designated as the voting place for Precinct #2. All polling locations are handicap accessible.
